Our client, a leading supplier to Honda, is seeking a highly skilled EHS Engineer to join their team in London, Ohio. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that values safety and excellence.

Job Requirements:

  • Develop and propose countermeasures to control costs.

Responsibilities:

As an EHS Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and assuring compliance for safety programs.
  • Examining plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
  • Leading Safety Teams when facilitating safety initiatives.
  • Administering company-wide Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) programs.
  • Conducting safety training, both New Hire Orientation training and specialized regulatory required training.
  • Leading and/or conducting inspections and audits to identify and correct safety hazards and issues throughout the company.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years' experience, including a minimum of two years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and procedures to manage claims.
Physical Requirements:

This role requires:

  • Lifting (max 40lbs) for hours per day.
