2. **Brokerage Negotiation:** If functioning in a brokerage capacity, engage in negotiations to secure policy placements with suitable carriers.

3. **Collaborative Solutions:** Partner with sales managers and producers to develop optimal solutions for prospective insured individuals.

4. **Risk Appraisal:** Evaluate applicants in accordance with the company's risk assessment criteria, focusing on lower face amount cases with straightforward underwriting issues.

5. **Underwriting Judgment:** Utilize sound underwriting judgment to enhance the producer's ability to place cases effectively, promote product competitiveness, and meet mortality and morbidity targets.

6. **Innovative Approaches:** Develop creative strategies that facilitate business placements with the company.

7. **Sales Process Support:** Collaborate with producers, field office personnel, and field officers throughout the presale, underwriting, policy issuance, and delivery phases.

8. **Relationship Building:** Establish and maintain effective working relationships, proactively addressing and communicating any case-related issues.

9. **Negotiation Skills:** Strive for satisfactory outcomes for clients, producers, and the company, ensuring fairness and adherence to sound risk selection principles.

10. **Assistance for Complex Cases:** Seek guidance when dealing with more challenging underwriting scenarios.

Education and Skills:

- A college degree or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, team-building, empathy, interpersonal skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient time management, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Basic knowledge of insurance and contract law, along with federal and state regulations, is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze financial statements effectively.
- Understanding of new business functions, life products, reinsurance, and marketing concepts.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and build productive relationships with producers and field office staff.
