Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lead Reconstruction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for estimating construction projects and property insurance losses, growing relationships with insurance adjusters and property managers, and overseeing contracts and job files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate construction projects and property insurance losses using Xactimate and Symbility software
  • Grow relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers, and facilities managers
  • Oversee contracts, job files, estimates, and changes orders
  • Secure and scan applicable contracts and paperwork into job folders
  • Coordinate financials, including invoices, draws, and final payments
  • Prepare documents for mortgage companies and escrow accounts
  • Develop a vendor network of skilled trades to complement Paul Davis services
  • Create budgets for project managers to follow during the repair process
  • Collaborate with project managers to produce jobs while meeting financial goals
  • Hit or exceed annual sales goals with good margins
  • Achieve top-rated customer service ratings
  • Meet or exceed RMS scoring metrics
Requirements
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to exercise judgment on behalf of Paul Davis
  • Enjoy a fast-paced and sales-focused environment
  • Must be outgoing, driven, self-starter, and passionate about success
  • Highly organized and able to plan with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of practices and procedures in water, fire, mold, and trades
  • Knowledgeable in the insurance industry and understand trends in claims and adjusting losses
  • Knowledgeable on building products, new products, and building technologies
Experience
  • 2+ years' experience in Xactimate and Symbility software required
  • Building construction knowledge and experience required
  • Pay based on experience with possible bonus and commission based on performance
Physical Demands
  • Occasional standing, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, crouching, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild to extreme
  • Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud
  • Able to enter areas of fire, smoke, mold, sewage, etc.
