Clinical Specialist - PUCK

This role is a two-year, grant-funded position at Vermont Employer. The Clinical Specialist will provide direct services to children and families, ensuring easy access, timely response, and flexibility in delivering services that are most often provided within PUCK but can occur in the home and community in a trauma-informed, systems-based, coordinated, cross-sector, family-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides assessment and counseling to children, families, and/or groups with behavioral, emotional mental health, and/or substance use needs.
  • Services provided as crisis stabilization and can be intensive.
  • Facilitates referrals and communication between agencies for other services on behalf of the child.
  • Attends team meetings to plan and monitor services.
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in a relevant human service field with some experience providing counseling services to families and children.
  • Licensure or on track for licensure in Vermont as a Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Professional required.
  • Knowledge of the Vermont system of care and ability to connect individuals to appropriate resources.
