Occupational Therapist Opportunity

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their rehabilitation team. With over 55 years of experience in providing high-quality care, our center is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, and potential for rehabilitation.
  • Develop and administer treatment programs with specific goals tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Document and record patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
  • Valid professional license and registration for the state of NY.
  • Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $55-$60.
  • Full-time and PRN weekend positions available.
