Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Interventional Technologist to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a key member of our vascular interventional radiology team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for vascular interventional radiology procedures, including arteriograms, embolization's, and drain insertions.
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper safety standards are met.
  • Instruct students and residents, and perform preceptor duties as needed.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and maintain supply inventory.
  • Assist in departmental Performance Improvement assessments and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with the full procedural team to ensure a safe and efficient patient care experience.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Interventional radiology procedural lab experience preferred.
  • Current A.R.R.T registration and RTR licensure with the State of Delaware.

Work Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Must be able to get to the facility within 30 minutes for on-call shifts.
