About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. This role requires a Master's degree in social work from an accredited graduate school and three years of experience in postgraduate social work. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, comprehensive social work services are provided to patients and families.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Completing comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify strengths and potential barriers across the continuum of care as relates to patient health and wellbeing.">
  • Assisting patients and families in coping with illness, trauma, hospitalization, and end of life based on principles of growth and development, family systems, and cultural considerations.">
  • Assisting families and healthcare teams in making plans for discharge and ongoing medical care and treatment related to psychosocial needs.">
  • Documenting and maintaining updated patient information pertaining to services provided.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A Master's degree in social work from an accredited graduate school.">
  • Three years of experience in postgraduate social work.">
  • Experience in a medical setting and/or with children and families.">
  • Georgia or other state Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.">
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.">
  • Strong interpersonal skills.">
  • Knowledge of age-appropriate treatment and practice.">

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $62,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
