Physiology Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Physiology Instructor to join our team at Charter College in Oxnard, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physiology and teaching experience, with a passion for delivering high-quality education to students.

The Physiology Instructor will be responsible for delivering lectures, lab sessions, and clinical instruction to students in our Anatomy and Physiology program. This includes developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback. The instructor will also be expected to participate in curriculum development, serve as a liaison between the Program Faculty and Program Manager, and contribute to program advisory committee meetings.

• Deliver high-quality instruction in anatomy and physiology to students in a blended learning environment
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet program objectives and accreditation standards
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in curriculum development and revision
• Serve as a liaison between the Program Faculty and Program Manager
• Contribute to program advisory committee meetings

• Bachelor's degree in physiology or a related field (e.g., biology, bio physics, molecular biology, pre-med, neuroscience, public health, nursing)
• 3 years of work experience in a related field (e.g., medical, teaching anatomy and physiology)
• Teaching experience is a plus
• Ability to commute to the Oxnard campus
