Job Overview

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at DaVita Inc. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to a culture of compassion and excellence.

About the Role

">

The PCT will be responsible for providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment">
  • Assist patients with their personal care needs, such as bathing and dressing">
  • Prepare patients for dialysis by conducting pre-dialysis assessments and setting up equipment">
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations and assessments of patients' physical and emotional status">
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Degree in Medical Assisting or related field (or equivalent experience)">
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred">
  • Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment">
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time">

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $38,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching, we also offer paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career advancement.
