Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repetitive press operations to mass produce automotive components
  • Meet established production goals for all jobs on a given press
  • Accurately record production information on the production report
  • Assist in line change activities and maintain a clean work area
  • Ensure quality of parts being produced and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries and follow all MIOSHA and company policies
  • Develop and maintain standards in accordance with lean Manufacturing principles
  • Process required paperwork and understand and follow all plant ISO 14001 & TS 16949 requirements
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend in a manufacturing setting for an entire shift
  • Ability to use hands tools, power tools, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to visually decipher color
  • Outgoing and willing to learn and adapt to all job duties
