Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Little Rock, AR. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients, administering oral solutions, and performing various laboratory tasks.

Responsibilities
  1. Collect specimens from patients, including blood samples, urine samples, and other bodily fluids, according to established procedures.
  2. Administer oral solutions to patients as required.
  3. Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
  4. Enter data accurately into computer systems and maintain accurate records.
  5. Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
  6. Perform non-patient facing duties, including inventory management, sanitizing equipment, and answering phones.
  7. Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
  8. Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data as required.
Requirements
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
