Role Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Superintendent to oversee maintenance operations for a residential property. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of residents and the overall functionality of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing community satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
  • Setting a standard for professional conduct and embodying the core values of the organization.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with residents, staff, and service providers.
  • Managing contracts and services necessary for property operations, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Coordinating timely responses to service requests.
  • Overseeing unit turnover processes.
  • Conducting interior and exterior painting as needed.
  • Implementing a preventative maintenance program for all equipment based on manufacturer guidelines.
  • Supervising various maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory of supplies and materials.
  • Overseeing janitorial and grounds maintenance activities.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the property and scheduling necessary work.
  • Coordinating with third-party vendors for specialized services.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in maintenance roles, covering plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general operations.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Proven ability to manage and direct third-party contractors.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with property management software is advantageous.
  • Uniforms will be provided.
