About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities and presenting recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and demonstrate advanced skills in operational workflow analysis and systems design.
  • Design and implement Epic system builds, providing guidance to junior staff as needed.
  • Develop and execute complex testing scripts, identifying and resolving errors in an independent manner.
  • Ensure compliance with established Departmental and Epic change control processes.
  • Proactively complete system maintenance tasks, escalating issues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with ITSM/ITIL teams to improve service and support processes.
  • Provide proactive support for group/team members, working collaboratively to resolve complex issues.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including Hospital Billing and Physician Billing departments.
  • Collaborate with Finance to build and maintain Epic extracts to PeopleSoft General Ledger and Accounts payable.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or information technology related field or equivalent preferred.
  • Epic certifications: Resolute Hospital Billing Administration, Home Health Revenue Cycle, and Hospice Revenue cycle.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, business analysis, or operational super user roles, including a minimum of two years of systems analyst experience.
