Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in data architecture, data engineering, and data governance. As a key member of our team, you will analyze, design, and implement data-driven solutions that support our client's business objectives. Your ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements will drive efficiency, innovation, and compliance throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify areas for improvement, and translate these needs into precise technical requirements.
  • Data Governance & Data Quality: Lead efforts to establish and maintain robust data governance practices. Ensure data quality standards are met by implementing processes for data validation, cleansing, and monitoring.
  • Data Architecture & Engineering: Partner with data engineers and IT teams to design and implement scalable, efficient data architectures.
  • ETL Processes & Data Integration: Design, develop, and manage ETL processes using Talend or similar tools.
  • SQL Development: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and optimization within data management workflows.
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation for data processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between business units and technical teams.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data engineering concepts.
  • Extensive experience in data governance and data quality management.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and services.
