Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist Coordinator to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans to address these issues.
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and assessments to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services to patients, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and services provided.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
  • Current certification in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey as a speech-language pathologist.
