About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Elderwood at North Creek. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality speech-language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication problems and develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to residents, focusing on speech, language, and cognitive skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
  • Participate in staff meetings and in-service training to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school.
  • State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Current, valid CPR/BLS certification.
  • Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others.
