We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist Coordinator to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
- Administer assessments and interventions to improve communication and swallowing skills, and document patient progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services.
- Develop and implement educational programs to promote communication and swallowing health.
- Conduct research to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and contribute to the development of evidence-based treatments.
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
- Eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
- Temporary or permanent license in the State of New Jersey as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
