Job Opportunity

BrightStar Care of Lane County in Eugene, OR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Shift Caregiver to provide premium, personalized care to our clients. As a Night Shift Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and older adults who require assistance with daily tasks and companionship.

Responsibilities
  • Provide various personal care services, including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
  • Assist clients with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
  • Provide assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
  • Excellent references.
  • Access to a computer or smart phone for web-based scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks, DMV, and drug screen.
  • Must pass caregiver competencies.
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
