Job Title: Caregiver - Swing Shift

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Sherwood Pines Memory Care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with complex needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
  • Provide physical care, such as transferring and escorting residents, and assist with meal setup and eating assistance.
  • Engage residents in person-centered activities and promote social interaction.
  • Treat residents with respect, dignity, and compassion, and support their individualized care plans.
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report any significant changes to the Administrator.
  • Respond to emergency situations according to current policies and procedures.
  • Complete incident reports and document care provided.
  • Administer medications after medication class and approval from the Administrator.
  • Report any signs of resident abuse or witnessed misappropriation to the Administrator.
  • Adhere to the dress code and maintain a neat and clean appearance.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check and complete dementia and caregiver preservice training.
  • Ability to work a swing shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
