As a key member of the Delivery Operations team, the DMV Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless vehicle registration transactions and purchase paperwork processing. This includes coordinating with Sales and Delivery Specialists to ensure all required documents are complete and accurate, processing DMV registrations related to sales and Tesla-owned vehicles, and recording information in multiple record-keeping systems.




  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales and Delivery Specialists to ensure efficient transaction processing.
  • Process and manage DMV registrations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve registration-related issues and improve processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on vehicle tax and registration rules, providing expert guidance to the team.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new and updated forms and processes.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with end-of-quarter delivery pushes and other operational tasks.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • DMV experience preferred but not required.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively.
  • Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work on a varied schedule.
