Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Alief Independent School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to students with various communication disorders, evaluating student progress, and developing individualized education plans.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' communication needs and develop targeted therapy plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with speech or language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement effective strategies and accommodations in the classroom.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Texas license as a speech-language pathology intern granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
