Job Summary

CUSA, LLC is seeking a skilled Room Cleaning Specialist to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express in Kalamazoo, MI.

As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip and replace linens in bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Vacuum and dust all rooms, including furniture and fixtures
  • Clean bathroom fixtures, shower curtains, and mirrors, and dispose of soap, shampoo, and other partially used amenities
  • Put clean linens on beds and clean towels in bathrooms
  • Clean and dust living rooms, including furniture and fixtures, and check for cleanliness, pests, and cobwebs
  • Check lights and appliances and notify office staff of any maintenance needs
  • Perform a final check of the premises and attend to any issues

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
