Key Responsibilities:- Ensure teams meet key operational performance goals.
- Assess and evaluate underwriting processes to implement agreed technical standards, controls, practices, and procedures.
- Follow up with producers to discuss new business, upcoming renewals, and renewals in process.
- Perform customer service and account management responsibilities, including resolving issues related to billing and policy coverage.
- Participate in key account business relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Make staffing decisions and guide staff development through identifying skills and training needs.
- Build insurance operations and underwriting skills by participating in cross-training and learning additional processes.
- Lead, motivate, and develop Underwriting Account Servicing team members to deliver superior broker/customer experiences.
- Bachelor's degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting, or Market Facing area.
- OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 4 or more years' experience in the Insurance, Underwriting, or Market Facing area.
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting, or Market Facing area.
- AND Knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory environment.
- Insurance certifications.
- People management experience.
- Experience working in a production and metrics performance environment.
- Knowledge of operational budgets.
- Knowledge of international insurance programs.
