Land Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Land Representative to join our team at Resource Environmental Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing relationships with prospective landowners, securing property rights, and enabling project realization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with prospective landowners, both private and public, and community business leaders.
- Secure property rights and enable project realization.
- Interact with various RES functions, including sales, regulatory, field operations teams, analysts, and in-house counsel.
- 50% travel across PA, WV, NY, OH, & NJ, including overnight stays.
- Acquire land for new deals, researching suitable landowners, contacting them, and updating software reports.
- Lead negotiations with selected landowners on their properties, sometimes involving overnight stays.
- Assist in due diligence items, including survey and title, and preparing and organizing closing documents.
- Analyze property data and land records for the suitability of restoration sites, run numbers associated with acquiring new land assets, and work with management to prepare and maintain monthly cash flow statements.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Real Estate, Land Management, Agriculture, or Ecology or equivalent work experience.
- Two or more years of experience in land acquisition, real estate brokerage, land management, or sales.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Passion for environmental stewardship and conservation.
