Your Contributions in this Role:
As a Senior Supervisor of Plant Engineering Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our facilities and production machinery operate safely, comply with regulations, and achieve optimal efficiency and output through technological advancements.

Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive preventative maintenance, addressing mechanical, electrical, and semi-automated equipment breakdowns. You will oversee personnel, budgets, and financial reporting.

As a key member of the plant leadership team, you will work towards facilitating continuous improvement, enhancing customer service, and fulfilling business objectives.


Your Impact Will Include:
Leading the Plant Engineering Technicians to deliver Preventive, Corrective, and Emergency support for our operations.


Guiding the Systems, Controls, and Data Automation teams to significantly enhance operational effectiveness in terms of efficiency, quality, and safety through innovative systems and technology.

Implementing and ensuring adherence to a Reliability Framework and Asset Management System to foster ongoing improvements in safety, employee engagement, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE/CEE).

Coordinating site facility projects, including building maintenance, security, HVAC systems, and emergency protocols.

Developing a comprehensive training model for Plant Engineering to cultivate multi-disciplinary skills encompassing mechanical, electrical, and controls expertise.

Enhancing plant operational effectiveness, improving project delivery timelines, reducing mean time between failures, and implementing improvement strategies.

Driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives and modern manufacturing principles by identifying deficiencies and recommending enhancements in training, work practices, and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:
To ensure your success in this role, 3M requires the following qualifications:

A High School Diploma/GED or higher with a minimum of seven (7) years of combined experience in a maintenance role within a private, public, government, or military setting.

OR

A Bachelor's degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with a minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in manufacturing engineering, plant maintenance, project engineering, controls, technology, and/or process engineering within a private, public, government, or military environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.

Experience in asset management and/or reliability analysis.

Experience in leading Autonomous Maintenance initiatives.

Experience in driving Continuous Improvement in complex environments.

Experience in managing intricate projects.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Work Location:

Travel Requirements:
May include up to 10% domestic/international travel.
