- Represent Unaccompanied Housing Section with various installation and functional area organizations.
- Manage Unaccompanied Housing administrative operations, including UH planning and activity performance.
- Serve as the Base Civil Engineer's representative for unaccompanied housing matters.
- Conduct joint resident-management quarters inspections to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability of the unit, furnishings, equipment, and facilities.
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems.
Applicants must also possess knowledge of DoD, HQ USAF, and MAJCOM Unaccompanied Housing principles, theory, policies, directives, and procedures. Additionally, applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, both orally and in writing.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the Unaccompanied Housing Program, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and meeting customer needs. The candidate will also be responsible for representing Unaccompanied Housing Section with various installation and functional area organizations.
