Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and interpret post-donor clinical data from hospitals and external entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct data entry in LifeNet Health databases, maintaining precise documentation of post-donor outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform quality assurance audits of organ donor records, verifying the accuracy of both paper and electronic documentation, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Identify and document discrepancies found during audits, notifying appropriate personnel for necessary corrections and verifying completion.
  • Assist in the preparation of OPO data reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission while supporting the development of additional reports as needed.
  • Monitor the status of organ donor records, ensuring they are available for internal and external reviews as required.
  • Support quality systems and management in preparing for third-party audits.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in health information management, utilization review, or organ/tissue donation systems.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in accessing and obtaining information from electronic medical records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in quality assurance medical record auditing.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and databases for data entry and tracking.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks while demonstrating basic analytical skills.
