Job Overview:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will conduct imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with established radiology standards to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. Your role will also encompass various responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of radiologic principles and theories, employing the most suitable techniques and positioning to achieve optimal imaging results.
2. Develop tailored imaging procedure plans that align with patient needs.
3. Execute imaging plans while adhering to established hospital protocols and guidelines.
4. Complete necessary documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
5. Maintain imaging equipment, procedure rooms, and workspaces in a clean and safe manner to protect both patients and staff.
6. Engage in hospital and departmental performance improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of patient care.
7. Collect and organize medical record information for processing and analysis.
8. Ensure that medical record information is accessible to authorized personnel.
9. Compile and prepare reports as directed by supervisors.
10. Achieve assigned performance goals.

Qualifications:

Education:
Minimum requirement includes graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Licensure and Certification:
Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. State licensure as required.

Special Skills:
Basic computer literacy is essential.
