Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at St. Bernards Medical Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using complex imaging equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Develop and process radiographic images to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements
  • Current enrollment in a Radiology program
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in a school approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology
  • Meet approved requirements for registry by the A.R.R.T.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Exposure to radiological hazards-occupational levels. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operates computer, image processing, x-ray, MRI, patient monitoring. Lifting up to 50lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking and bending.
