Academic Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Academic Program Manager to join our team at Pace. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our educational programs and services, collaborating with our Social Services team to integrate best practices, and overseeing the daily operations of our Academic Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Quality Programming
- Collaborate with Social Services team to integrate best practices
- Oversee daily operations of Academic Program
- Comply with Federal statutes regarding ESE services
- Participate in Intake Team to assess educational needs of girls
- Serve as liaison with school district to ensure district requirements are met
- Monitor and develop new educational services
- Participate in parent/guardian meetings and oversee academic documentation
- Follow guidelines from Central Communication Center, JJIS, DCF, and Pace
- Conduct regular assemblies with girls to announce awards and educational information
- Use and monitor Pace's database to ensure timely and accurate recording of academic services
- Participate in development of annual School Improvement Plan
- Ensure each girl's transcript has been reviewed for accuracy
- Teach classes as needed and/or as allowed by school district policies
- Monitor student progress to ensure grade promotion and graduation requirements
- Leadership responsibilities include hiring, on-boarding, supervising, and coaching academic team members
- Oversee teacher's certification requirements and in-service points
- Arrange for daily class coverage
- Supervise interns
- Oversee and ensure compliance and administration of pre, update, and post standardized assessments
- Prepare for, participate in, and facilitate care review meetings
- Assist in development of goals for academic staff
- Monitor center's academic key performance indicators
- Develop and coordinate schedule/special events with leadership team
- Monitor daily academic operations and ensure teaching standards are in accordance with mandated state standards
- Offer and conduct professional development opportunities for academic staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, Major in Education, or related field
- Certified teacher in grades 6th-12th in the state of Florida
- Minimum three to five years' experience in supervisory roles
- Minimum three to five years' experience in an educational or social services environment
- Current Florida driver's license
- Proficiency in computer skills, database management, and/or office software
- Preferred experience in an at-risk environment, Master's in education leadership or related field, ESE Certification
