Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

DispatchHealth Management is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings to support the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries. This role will also involve maintaining and enhancing patient care, customer service, image quality, operational efficiency, and training of other Radiologic Technologists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct portable x-rays and EKG exams in different settings, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient residences.
• Follow company policies and protocols for diagnostic imaging exams.
• Collect required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
• Operate portable radiologic equipment and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Adhere to safety practices, infection control, and radiation safety.
• Complete required documentation and maintain records of work performed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to portable imaging procedures.
• Assist with administrative and customer support functions as directed.
Requirements:
• Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
