About the Role:
DispatchHealth Management is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings to support the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct portable x-rays and EKG exams in different settings, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient residences.
- Follow company policies and protocols for diagnostic imaging exams.
- Collect required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment and ensure diagnostic image quality.
- Adhere to safety practices, infection control, and radiation safety.
- Complete required documentation and maintain records of work performed.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to portable imaging procedures.
- Assist with administrative and customer support functions as directed.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and professionalism when interacting with others.
Requirements:
- Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays.
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
