About the Role

Safehold Inc. is seeking a skilled Corporate Land Management Specialist to join its team. In this role, you will play a critical part in revolutionizing real estate ownership by providing a new and better way for owners to unlock the value of the land beneath their buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of board materials and management of annual filings, including resolutions and board decks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in high-volume environments.
  • Assist with the coordination and preparation of the annual stockholder meeting, promoting seamless communication and project management between teams.
  • Prepare initial drafts of Section 16 beneficial ownership filings on Forms 3, 4, and 5 for officers and directors, tracking pre-clearances under the insider trading policy and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise legal department expense processes, vendor invoices, and billing relationships, contributing to budgeting and financial planning within the organization.
  • Manage stock award grants with our transfer agent, handling entity formation, maintenance, and dissolution while maintaining organizational documents.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company, external legal teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project management.
  • Oversee the NDA process with third-party service providers, contributing to various projects that align with timelines and specifications.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; paralegal certification or equivalent practical experience is preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in public company or law firm environments.
  • Familiarity with corporate entity management, capital markets, and annual filings, as well as strong project management and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing board materials, technical proficiency in DocuSign, Diligent, entity/subsidiary management tools, and knowledge of legal billing processes.

  • Total Compensation Range: $120,000 - $155,000 (base salary + performance incentive program), offering a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support health and well-being.
