Job Title: Electrical Design Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Consultant to join our team at Myriad Technical Services. As an Electrical Design Consultant, you will be responsible for reviewing and designing control and protection systems for switching stations and substations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review control one-line diagrams and schematics for controls/protection for major transmission/distribution projects
  • Design and implement protective schemes with SEL and GE microprocessor protective relays
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of company standards and best practices for design and review of similar projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements
Requirements:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in detailed engineering/design of controls/protection parts of projects for electric utilities switching stations and substations
  • Knowledge of MICROSTATION or AUTOCAD a plus
