We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Control and Life Support (ECLS) Subsystem Manager to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
The ECLS Subsystem Manager will be responsible for managing the International Space Station (ISS) ECLS System, including the Oxygen Generator Assembly (OGA) and Advanced Oxygen Generator Assembly (AOGA). This will involve overseeing all aspects of OGA and AOGA hardware and associated ground/development/on-orbit activities/operations. The successful candidate will work closely with ISS Program Vehicle Office Integrators, Boeing contractor subsystem teams, various project/hardware provider teams, and other organizations to manage tasks and technical risks.
Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 5 - 10 years of related experience. A working knowledge of mechanical, fluid, and pressure-based systems is essential. The successful candidate will also have a strong working knowledge of the ISS Program (or similar NASA program), including use of boards/technical forums and support of space flight hardware activities. Strong and clear communication skills, both technical and interpersonal, involving complex topics and real-time discussion/decision-making are also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A working knowledge of, and experience with, Space Vehicle flight operations and documentation is highly desirable. Knowledge of hardware certification and flight processes is also beneficial. The successful candidate will be familiar with Oxygen and Hydrogen, their associated risks and how those gases interact within a system. Prior knowledge and experience with OGA/AOGA is also preferred.

Essential Functions:
The successful candidate will be required to work in an office environment but may involve inside or outside work depending on the task. The role may require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time). The successful candidate will also be required to work outside normal schedule and adjust the schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
