About the JobThis Real Estate Development Associate position supports the Community Investments department in reviewing and analyzing potential investments in affordable housing and community development projects. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and analyzing potential investments in affordable housing and community development projects, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) opportunities.
- Preparing initial due diligence checklists, collecting, tracking, filing, and/or storing information and data from partners, performing initial review of due diligence received, such as appraisals, market study, and environmental reports, uploading information for file/information sharing with investors, project partners, and/or legal counsel.
- Working with department staff to manage a database of investments, assist with project outcomes/impact data collection, analysis, and/or maintenance of files and data, and provide support for the work of the Vice President of Community Investments to prepare reports.
