Baker and Packager Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Baker and Packager Associate to join our team. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for preparing fresh baked items daily, following recipes and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a Team Player: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate effectively, and be flexible to meet business needs.
- Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs, operate baking equipment, follow recipes, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Be a Problem Solver: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, and adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain work area according to company policies and procedures, and ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club, value the member's experience, and model high-quality service and products.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
