Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare IT Liaison to join our team at CommonSpirit Health, a comprehensive network of primary care services and specialties across 88 locations in central and eastern Kentucky. This role offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

About the Role
  • Provide level 1 and 2 support for day-to-day production issues, maintaining accurate documentation in tracking systems while adhering to prescribed escalation and change control procedures.
  • Rounded daily interaction with providers (70-80%):
    • Collaborate with providers on adopting and optimizing applications.
    • Escalate issues as necessary to the Service Desk and/or Supervisor.
    • Communicate issues and concerns clearly, concisely, and timely to appropriate parties.
    • Develop and maintain professional relationships with providers.
    • Support physicians and super user groups/clinics.
    • Evaluate IT application updates and revisions, cascading information to providers.
    • Assist with performing application changes as trained and applicable.
    • Promote the use of information technology with physicians.
    • Facilitate communication between physicians and IT.
    • Proactively identify and evaluate provider needs related to IT and IT resources.
    • Offer one-on-one training and ongoing system optimization training.
    • Ensure physician devices (hardware) and applications are functioning properly.
    • Support standardization of documentation and integration of applicable standards and practices.
  • All other responsibilities (20-30%):
    • Identify and communicate training material needs.
    • Responsible for weekly status reports.
    • Open and manage tickets on behalf of the providers.
    • Collaborate with other ITS support staff to enhance physician satisfaction and facilitate adoption of IT systems.
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with Clinical Informatics team to ensure continuity in EHR clinical workflows.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with computer information systems, providing support to users or equivalent experience as a business analyst or super user.
  • Knowledge of systems and application support, ITIL environments, and healthcare experience preferred but not required.
