Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Estimator/Sales Representative to join our team at W3Global Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by delivering expert consultations, preparing detailed estimates, and building strong relationships with our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Analysis: Break down project plans to create precise estimates, align with RFP requirements, and define our scope clearly.
  • Post-Project Review: Analyze production reports to verify timelines and estimates meet actual outcomes, collaborating with team members to refine future bidding practices.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with commercial clients, address inquiries, and attend networking events, maintaining strong relationships through effective communication and follow-through.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize and enhance bid platforms, CAD programs, and other software to improve efficiency, seeking out new tools and opportunities to optimize bidding accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Sales Performance: Partner with the Business Development Manager to identify and pursue bidding opportunities, meeting and exceeding individual sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Knowledge and experience in the construction industry is a must, with a variety of experiences within the industry such as construction management, estimating, sales, and hardscape construction strongly considered.
  • Skills: Proficiency in DynaSCAPE, Microsoft Office Suite, and a valid Michigan Driver's License, with a strong understanding of construction drawings and excellent communication and mathematical skills.
  • Certifications: Must obtain CMHA Concrete Masonry Hardscape Association Certification(s) and Salesperson's licensing within the first 12 months.
  • Personal Traits: Detail-oriented, with a professional presentation, resilience to rejection, and strong team collaboration skills.

Work Environment:

This role includes both office and fieldwork, requiring the use of computers for design and analysis, as well as conducting presentations, site analyses, and attending client meetings and networking events.
