- Collaborate with licensed providers to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies to provide evidence-based care and improve patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing with plans to earn a baccalaureate degree accepted.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State required.
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills required.
- ACLS certification.
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations.
