Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Data Specialist to manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for enhanced project delivery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing annual project budgets and monthly forecasts, consolidating IT portfolio project reports, analyzing cost drivers and performance against forecasts, conducting actual cost analysis and project metrics reporting, and engaging in risk management for financial tracking and operations maintenance costs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Annual Project Budgets and Forecasts: Develop and maintain accurate financial models to inform project decisions.
  • Consolidate IT Portfolio Project Reports: Analyze and present complex data to stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Analyze Cost Drivers and Performance Against Forecasts: Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Conduct Actual Cost Analysis and Project Metrics Reporting: Provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Engage in Risk Management for Financial Tracking and Operations Maintenance Costs: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Related Discipline: Strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • 4+ Years of Experience as a Project Financial Analyst: Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with MS Project or Primavera (P6) and Project Web Access (PWA): Proficient in using industry-standard project management tools.
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Database Development for Data Consolidation: Ability to design and implement databases to streamline data analysis.
  • Strong Understanding of Project Management Office Functions: Familiarity with PMO principles and practices.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
