Job Summary

Comp-U-Dopt is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Trainer to join our team. As a Program Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering educational programming for youth and adult learners in the Mesa, Arizona area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Education: Lead training classes for elementary, middle, or high school youth; and/or parents and other adult learners, providing instruction and guidance to ensure their learning and knowledge retention.
  • Program Development: Deliver programs in line with developed curriculum, actively engaging with students to ensure their learning and knowledge retention.
  • Classroom Management: Facilitate a strong classroom culture through authentic relationships with students and consistent behavior and classroom management.
  • Feedback and Evaluation: Provide feedback and suggestions on curriculum and program revision, collecting classroom information including attendance as well as metric and measurement reports to ensure the continuous improvement and quality of the program.
  • Safety and Quality: Maintain a safe and healthy training environment by following organization standards and legal regulations, maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High School graduate or GED.
  • Age and Transportation: Must be 18 years of age or older, and have reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in a relevant or related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a classroom environment.
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, AED certifications.
Special Knowledge and Skills
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer use, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
  • Teaching and Training: Knowledge and experience in teaching/training technology, digital literacy, or STEM-related programming.
  • STEAM Fields: Knowledge in STEAM fields, particularly technology, and commitment to mission-driven work.
  • Program Planning: Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement population-appropriate program activities.
