Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team at J D Fulwiler & Co Insurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with a producer and managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and that their insurance needs are met.


Responsibilities:

  • Support and service a wide range of commercial lines accounts, including property and casualty insurance.
  • Support agency producers with customer service related tasks, such as responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Liaison between clients, producers, and insurance company representatives to ensure seamless communication and service.
  • Assist with marketing renewals and account rounding for current clients to maintain client retention and grow business.
  • Respond to client inquiries, resolve problems, and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Obtain and ensure current and accurate information and document it per agency standards.
  • Recommend coverages, complete and submit applications, and related documentation to appropriate markets.
  • Market, quote, and rate new client business to grow the portfolio.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance account management.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License Required.
  • Independent Agency experience preferred.
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including agency management software experience. Applied/EPIC preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
