Job Title: DB/PostgreSQL Developer

Futran Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled DB/PostgreSQL Developer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced DB/PostgreSQL Developer to design, develop, and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, performance tuning, and migration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL
  • Evaluate, maintain, and enhance existing processes, stored procedures, and functions
  • Perform data analysis, create ad hoc queries, and develop reports to support business needs
  • Create documentation for applications and processes
  • Daily triage of bugs and tasks
Requirements:
  • 4-5+ years of experience as a database developer working with MySQL/SQL Server/PostgreSQL
  • Ability to write code in SQL
  • Experience in query tuning and understanding SQL data types impacts in terms of result
  • Understanding of new keywords like "rank," "partition," "CTE," and "merge"
  • Ability to create normalized/de-normalized database schemas
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of DevOps and creating/promoting code through CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience in AWS development like Lambda functions, Python, and Glue job
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in the full System Development Life Cycle (Dev, Test, Prod)
  • Experience in executing migration projects
  • Experience in Cloud-based Database - Dynamo DB
  • Writing and executing Unix shell scripts
