About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team in Denver, CO, Tampa, FL, and Austin, TX, Atlanta, GA, San Antonio, TX, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, Washington, DC, and Miami, FL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply technical expertise to solve architectural problems and coordinate related project activities.
  • Work with all levels of staff to develop research, design, and implement projects from start to finish.
  • Support Business Development and presentation efforts to secure and advance new projects.
  • Lead production of project documents through all stages of design and construction.
  • Mentor junior staff and lead project teams to produce complete sets of construction documents.
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants and other disciplines to ensure project deliverables.
  • Perform quality control reviews and contribute to specification writing.
  • Create organized exhibits in BlueBeam and PowerPoint for client and team review.
  • Direct and perform site observation and field work, including site investigations and existing facility inventory.
  • Provide project managers with status reports of progress on architectural documents.
  • Complete assignments efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner, with self-performed quality control.
  • Communicate regularly with the team and stay within budgeted hours for tasks assigned.
  • Maintain and coordinate project BIM models and have strong knowledge of construction document standards and conventions.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies and achieve consensus.
  • Evaluate and obtain accurate cost information, select materials, and inspect architectural features in the field.
  • Understand building materials and construction methods.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Analyze information and propose effective solutions.
  • Create basic and informative 3D models in BIM or another digital format.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture required.
  • Minimum 15-20 years of relevant work experience, including all phases of architectural drafting, detailing, and coordinating consultants.
  • Expertise in BIM/Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Hold an Architect license in at least one state.
  • LEED AP or other sustainability certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Advanced knowledge of building systems and experience in implementing various building systems and project types.
