Responsibilities

As a Dishwasher/Steward, you will be responsible for:

  • Washing dishware, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans by hand or through the dishwashing machine
  • Separating and removing trash and placing it in designated areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning as needed
  • Maintaining, disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, and troubleshooting issues with the dishwashing machine
  • Taking in, organizing, and putting away all delivered product
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • The ability to take initiative in tasks assigned to you
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
  • The ability to stoop and bend
  • The ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
  • The ability to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
  • The ability to comply with safety and health code standards
  • The ability to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
