Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Steward to join our team at Old Burdick's. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dining area and kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishware, utensils, and equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Separate and remove trash and recyclables, and ensure proper disposal
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
  • Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Receive and organize delivered products, and ensure proper storage and inventory management
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment
  • Ability to comply with health and safety regulations
