Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of water and wastewater treatment systems, including treatment process optimization, pumping and transmission systems, and utility infrastructure.
  • Construction Administration: Oversee construction projects, including administration of construction contracts and performance of on-site resident project representation services.
  • Project Management: Work with project managers to manage projects from inception to completion, including coordination and participation of client meetings.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train less experienced staff by providing guidance and reviewing their work.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: 4 to 10 years of relevant work experience in water and wastewater utility systems design and construction.
  • Skills: Experience with AutoCAD and Revit, strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to supervise, coordinate, and manage engineering/technical staff.
  • Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain licensure by reciprocity.
