About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hospitality Professional to join our team at Hollywood Casino at Toledo. As a key member of our sportsbook team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly, positive, and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Set up, stock, and service assigned areas, including tables, counters, and beverage stations, ensuring a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and replenish stock items in assigned areas, maintaining a neat and accurate inventory.
  • Order Taking and Delivery: Take orders, deliver food and beverages to guests, and ensure timely service.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including tables, counters, and floors, adhering to health department standards and regulations.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the culinary team and other servers to ensure coordinated work flow and meet business demands.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment in proper fashion, including coffee machines, soda and juice dispensers, and ice bins.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to regulatory, safety, departmental, and company policies, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Age: Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Experience: Six months of experience in food service preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to respond calmly in stressful situations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for entire shift, lift trays of food above shoulder level, and tolerate areas of cold and high temperature.
