About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hospitality Professional to join our team at Hollywood Casino at Toledo. As a key member of our sportsbook team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a helpful, positive, and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Area Setup and Maintenance: Set up, stock, and service assigned areas, including tables, counters, and beverage stations, ensuring a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and soiled linens from tables and countertops, transport to the dish area, and replenish stock items as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with the culinary team and other servers to ensure coordinated work flow during shifts, meeting business demands and exceeding customer satisfaction.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment in proper fashion, including coffee machines, soda and juice dispensers, ice bins, and refrigerators.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to regulatory, safety, and departmental policies, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Age: Must be 21 years of age.
  • Experience: Six months experience in food service preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledgeable of food and alcoholic beverages, excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to respond calmly in stressful situations.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand and walk for entire shift, lift trays of food above shoulder level, and tolerate areas of cold and high temperature.
